I believe that nonprofits need strong and committed board members. I have intentionally kept my board service limited to one or two organizations at a time because I want to be an active and attentive board member to those I serve. I bring both nonprofit AND business experience/acumen to the table, which is very uncommon for board members.
I want to serve on the board and what I hope to gain is the same reason to grow my network of professional women while supporting them at the same time.

I am passionate about economic development, financial literacy and programming to promote self -sufficiency and sustainability within various communities, focusing primarily on the youth.
