I am Dr. Angela Brake, DPS/IDL, the continuous improvement and robotic process automation leader for the GBS Akron center at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. I work closely with the centers in Bucharest and Manila to improve processes, build engagement and provide opportunities for the associates to learn end-to-end processes for the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, travel and expense, and general accounting. As a Member of the Board, I can be expected to collaborate with other board members and organizational leaders to set long-term goals and develop strategies for achieving them. I will actively participate in fundraising efforts to support the organization"s financial sustainability. I will engage in advocacy efforts to raise awareness of the WNLI mission and garner support. I will represent the organization in the community, build relationships with stakeholders, and promote collaboration with other organizations and agencies. I will contribute to the development and review of organizational policies to ensure they align with the WNLI mission. Lastly, you can count on me to serve on committees to address specific issues or projects within the organization, and be active for the good of the organization and to work towards advancing WNLI"s mission and contribute to the growth and impact of the organization.
