Overview
Giving back to the city of Akron has been my passion since I moved to Akron in 2014 to attend the University of Akron. I think the city of Akron has a phenomenal community and I would like to see all of our community members thrive. I bring energy, creative ideas, and a young perspective to the projects I work on.
Biography
Hi! I'm Jessi. I studied Adolescent-Young Adult Math Education at the University of Akron from 2014-2018. I then attended graduate school at Central Michigan University from 2018-2020, and my husband and I moved back to Akron shortly after my graduation. I have been working at Summa Health since May 2020 in the Department of Medical Education. I am passionate about helping others grow and helping them find their passion. I think that pursuing meaningful work, whether that's through your career, hobbies, or community involvement, is essential to living a fulfilling life. I am passionate about access to education, reproductive rights, animal welfare, community events, and nature. I am looking forward to growing as a young professional and making an impact on the community.
