Biography
Amy joined the former FirstEnergy Solutions in 2006 as a business analyst and held various leadership roles in Commodity Operations, Sales and Marketing and Fuel Procurement. She served as project manager for the Cash Flow Improvement Initiative in 2015 which led to her role as Manager, FE Corp Capital Management PMO. In 2018, Amy was the project manager for the construction of the Center for Advanced Energy Technology (CAET). She then assumed the role of Manager, Project Management Controls, for Transmission Project Management before being promoted to her current position of Director, Work Management and FEU Process Improvement, in 2020.
Prior to joining the company, Amy worked in several engineering and production leadership roles at The Little Tikes Company for 10 years.
Amy was a member of the FirstEnergy Diversity & Inclusion Working Group in 2019 and assumed the role of the working group lead in 2020. She is a member of the company’s Women in Leadership, Powering Professionals, and Thrive Employee Business Resource Groups.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Miami University, and a Master of Engineering Management from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). She was also a part-time lecturer in Project Management at CWRU for 5 years.
