Overview
I want to serve on a board to be an active part in the change we wish to see in the community. As an Akron native, I am looking for more meaningful ways to give back to the community and push initiatives forward. Issues that I am passionate about are: education, DE&I, homelessness & hunger, and women"s issues, including domestic violence.
Biography
I am a senior leader in the People & Culture/Learning & Development field, with a background in education (Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education, Language Arts, and Master of Arts in Adult Education & Learning Design). I hope to bring a diverse perspective to a committee that is dedicated to seeing positive change and growth in the community, by leveraging trends in the education industry, and prioritizing equity, inclusion, and belonging.
