Kaitlyn is looking for more opportunities to volunteer with other agri-businesses and community programs that amplify and support regional agriculture, bolster economic development and support food system and hunger education.
I previously served for three years on a professional board (Ohio Prospect Research Network) and enjoyed my experience but would like to transition to a board experience for a nonprofit organization. During my time on the OPRN board, I served as co-chair of the membership committee and as a member of the events committee. With more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources in private, public, and non-profit organizations, Sarah provides valuable insight into the importance of People Operations within successful organizations. She is a strategic and tactical leader who is responsible for driving cultural initiatives, performance management, talent acquisition, engagement, retention, learning and career development, and workforce planning. Sarah previously held the position of Director of Human Resources at the United Way of Greater Cleveland and worked closely with the Board and community volunteers. Sarah’s time at UWGC gave her a greater understanding of the socioeconomic factors that impact our communities and the workforce. She looks forward to the opportunity to give back by sharing her knowledge and expertise in Human Resources.
I was born in raised in Northeast Ohio and am very passionate about giving back to the community. I do a lot of my community work through Amazon channels, but would love to be able to expand my horizons and get involved in other organizations. Personally, what I would love to get out of joining a board is the opportunity to learn more about and industry I am not familiar with.
I am interested in serving on this board as a way to make connections with female mentors and peers and help develop my professional skills. I was a co-major in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies during my undergrad and believe in empowering women to lead and provide equal opportunities to underrepresented demographics of women.
