Center for Immersive Leadership
Overview
I am a life-long learner, and I have a passion for our community. I've lived in the Greater Akron area my entire life. I want to see it grow and thrive. I am hoping to get even more connected with women's needs in the area and offer support in any way I can.

"Amy has made it a life goal to provide safe spaces and encourage those needing extra support. Amy has her bachelor’s from Walsh University and a master's in leadership and communication from Gonzaga University. She has a heart for teaching and has spent time as a high school teacher and an adjunct professor at Kent State University. For much of her career, she owned and operated a photography studio where she photographed portraits and commercial work for brands and businesses. She enjoyed working with several national and many local organizations, assisting with branding, photography, and/or marketing. Amy is passionate about developing leaders at all levels of organizations. Some of her favorite topics are women in leadership, the Enneagram, and team building. She promotes fostering psychological safety in the workplace and works hard to advocate for every voice.
She and her husband have three children: a college freshman, a junior, and a second grader. All three keep her busy with sports and activities, but in her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and time with friends."
