Biography
Kat Wentz is an arts advocate and administrator in Northeast Ohio. As Operations Coordinator at GAR Foundation, Kat manages the overall operations, facilities, and administration. Additionally, Kat is the founding Chair of the City of Akron’s Public Art Commission. Previously, Kat served as Programs Manager at The National Center for Choreography at The University of Akron, where she produced cultural experiences and artistic visions. Her curatorial practice includes organizing exhibitions and projects for Acme Fresh Market, ArtsNow, Curated Storefront, Emily Davis Gallery, and Harris–Stanton Gallery, among others. Kat received her Master of Arts in Arts Administration from The University of Akron and Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Bowling Green State University.
